Saturday 28th September 2002 - Shoreham Aerojumble

The twice-yearly Shoreham Aerojumble event is due to be held at Shoreham Airport once again on Saturday 28 September.

The sale has become a Mecca for air-enthusiasts from all over the UK, Europe and, indeed, across the world. Well over one hundred stalls, all undercover, display and sell a bewildering array of aviation related items. The range of material spans almost 100 years of flying, new and second-hand, military and civilian and includes such things as books, artwork and postcards to model kits and - at the other end of the scale - aircraft parts such as engines, propellers, instruments, flying clothing etc. The organisers, Hastings based Aerojumbles UK, say that if its to do with aviation and you are looking for it then you are likely to find it here.

The Shoreham Aerojumble is held with the co-operation of the management at Shoreham Airport who also expect a larger than usual number of visiting aircraft as many visitors to the event fly in. All of the airport's range of facilities will be open to the public on the day.

Gates to the aerojumble open at 10.00am and admission is £4.00 per adult, children free. Enquiries relating to the aerojumble should be made to 01424 440644 or aerojumblesuk@andysaunders.freeserve.co.uk
