Shoreham (Brighton City) Airport Sussex
4th July

5th - 17th August 2002 - Exhibition of Paintings

An exhibition of paintings depicting aerial views of Sussex is being held at Shoreham Airport in August. Local artist Annie Wood is exhibiting a collection of works celebrating the wonder of both the coastline and South Downs.

As a landscape painter, Annie has always been fascinated by aerial views because of the heightened awareness obtained from this unique perspective.

Earlier this year, Annie was privileged to go flying with members of the Sussex Flying Club based at Shoreham Airport during which she took many 'working' photographs.

Annie hopes that the exhibition will serve as a reminder to us all not to forget the splendour of this local landscape and that it may also encourage members of the public to take a trip up in the sky with Sussex Flying Club at Shoreham.

The exhibition will be held in the Conference Room in the main terminal building at Shoreham Airport between 5 and 17 August.
